This Morning viewers FUMING as segment ‘RUINED’ by ‘ANNOYING’ detail

This Morning viewers were unable to hear what Laura Puddy had to say as her segment was overshadowed by two cello players in the studio.

The fashion editor and stylist was back on the set of the morning show as she revealed her selection of wedding dresses with several women from the ITV viewership taking part in a fashion show this Thursday, May 30.

Laura’s segment was teased throughout the program with a cello playing duo, offering covers of Taylor Swift’s Wildest Dreams or Miley Cyrus’ Wrecking Ball.

But when Laura finally introduced a long string of dresses in various styles, wowing both hosts Josie Gibson and Dermot O’Leary, the music only managed to irritate viewers.

Sharing their thoughts on X, otherwise known as Twitter, many TV watchers were disappointed they weren’t able to hear Laura, Josie or Dermot talk as the music was loud enough to drown their conversation out. “It would have been nice if the presenters hadn’t have been drowned out by the music”, one ITV viewer notably pointed out.

Another echoed: “stop that damned music we can’t hear the lady.” A third social media user agreed: “the music is lovely but I don’t want it over the speaking.” One viewer then complained: “Christ the music is getting louder.”

A viewer then noticed that the presenters had to speak louder in an attempt to be heard: “She’s having to shout over the bloody music.” Another lamented: “The music in the background seemed a good idea 10 minutes ago”, and comments kept flooding social media.

“Whose idea was the music drowning out the presenters”, one viewer questioned while another chimed in: “Music is drowning out what she’s saying so annoying.” A final fan begged: “Stop the f****** music fgs.”

Marriage has been a recurring topic on the morning show. On Wednesday, Josie and Dermot interviewed a woman who had decided to marry herself before she renewed her vows in the studio. This prompted Josie to reveal she had once tied the knot with her best friend Mia.

The Big Brother winner married her pal in August, 2023, while attending Camp Bestival. “Everybody turned up, because the night before, I’d invited everybody”, she recollected. I thought it might be the closest thing I ever have to a wedding”, she said. A speechless Dermot was completely unaware of her nuptials and proceeded to congratulate her.

Earlier this year, Josie was said to be “desperate” to settle down after spotting her pal and This Morning co-star Alison Hammond’s whirlwind romance with Russian masseur David Putman, whom she met after hiring him for a massage.

The loved-up couple have been seen looking happier than ever on social media, which was enough for single Josie to continue hoping for her perfect match.
